| The complex nature of an operating disconnector has lead to the realisation that the setting procedure is critical. Many utilities now insist that the final setting of a disconnector, prior to energisation, is checked on site by the manufacturer or it’s locally appointed expertise. Setting up and aligning of new disconnectors and earth switches per bus bar connection, post bus bar connection and when power is attached. A service offered to both utilities

In many cases we now go to site and complete the full assembly of the disconnector for the contractor building the sub station. This has proven to save both time and money for the contractor. We also ensure that the correct parts are in place when the job starts to make sure that the project runs smoothly and the all important energisation deadline is achieved.
